Harvard Medical School of Veterinary Medicine is built.

It is located at 50 Village Street. Established in 1882, the school was located initially at the Bussey Institute in Jamaica Plain. The school is dissolved by 1901 and the building is used by the Osgood Animal Hospital until it is destroyed by a fire in 1964.
